SAN JOSE, CA (August 12, 2021) Elastics.cloud Hires Reginald Conley as Sr. Director of Applications and Business Development, Jeff Earl as Principal Engineer, ASIC Architect and Raj Vishwanathan as Director of Software.

Conley joins Elastics.cloud as Sr. Director of Applications and Business Development. He has 25+ years’ experience in hardware (Analog/RF/Optical/SerDes, Board Design), as well as management experience in both customer support and business development. Reginald started his career as an Analog/RF engineer for GTE government systems where he worked on several communication technologies. Before joining Elastics.cloud he was Vice President of Applications and Business Development at PLX technologies (acquired by Avago). He later joined Diodes Incorporated and was appointed Connect ASIC Group Manager (PCI/PCIe products) – 30-member team consisting of Design, Applications and Marketing. Reginald holds a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University as well as a master’s degree in Business Administration.

Earl has more than 35 years of experience in hardware design and testing. He started his career at IBM in functional characterization of DRAM devices. Before joining Elastics.cloud he was a Senior Designer at PLX Technology focused on SoC integration. He later joined Denali Software/Cadence Design Systems and was the Chief Architect for DDR based PHY IP. Jeff has a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont.

Vishwanathan serves as the company’s Director of Software.  He has 25+ years of experience from building system firmware to architecting cloud level software. Raj started his career in Italy working on the networking stack that went into SVR4; Before joining Elastics.cloud he was the Director of Software at Broadcom leading a geographically dispersed team building PCIe switch firmware. Raj has a master’s degree in Statistics and Operations Research from the Indian Statistical Institute and a master’s in Computer Science from IIT, Kharagpur.
