SANTA CLARA, CA (August 26, 2022) Elastics.cloud, a Smart Interconnect technology company focused on enabling efficient and performant composable architectures, today announced that Ashok Ramachandran has joined the team as Director of Product and Test Engineering.

Ashok brings to the role over 30 years of experience in semiconductor product and test engineering and operations, specializing in SoC (System on Chip), microprocessors, and ASIC products. Before joining Elastics.cloud, Ashok worked at biotech startup Genapsys, where he oversaw the Engineering Operations group building semiconductor sensor products.

Earlier in his career, Ashok worked at startups including Cirrus Logic and Mindspeed as well as large corporations such as Sun Microsystems and Integrated Device Technology. He has a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Kansas State University.
